About Nijut Moina 2.0
Based on the successful first phase of the Nijut Moina scheme, the Assam government is going to launch the second version, The Chief Minister of Assam, Mr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, has announced that the second phase of the scheme will be released on August 6, 2025, aiming to cover more female students in the state to benefit from the scheme. Through the flagship initiative, the government aims to provide INR 1,000 to the female students studying in class 11th, those in degree first year will receive INR 1250 per month, and the students who have graduated are provided the financial assistance of 25,00 INR per month. This monthly financial help will give female students more stability, making it easier for them to focus on their studies.
