Eligibility Criteria for Krishak Bandhu Beneficiary List
To avail of the benefits under this scheme, the applicant must meet the following criteria
- The candidate must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
- The occupation applicant must be a farmer, either the farmer is a farmer who cultivates their name recorded in the government records, or a tenant farmer who cultivates the crop shared by the landowners and recorded as a sharecropper.
- The age of the candidate should be more than or equal to 18 years.
- The age of the applicant for the death benefit should be between 18 years to 60 years.
- Farmers with more than an acre of land will benefit perfectly, but farmers who have land owning less than 1 acre will benefit proportionately the minimum amount.
- For the death benefit, the deceased farmer must be recorded as a tenant or sharecropper farmer in the government records.
